Tools

Use the Board’s review tools to explore your model, check details, and verify dimensions directly in the scene — helping your team review designs thoroughly and make confident decisions.

Board tools are located at the bottom center of the interface. Each tool serves a specific purpose for inspecting and reviewing scenes in detail.

Material

  • Click the Material tool to view the material chip linked to the selected material group.

  • Click a chip to open the Material List layer.

  • Select a material from the list to instantly switch and preview it in the scene.

Explode

  • Use the Explode tool to separate model parts for detailed inspection.

  • Adjust the slider to control the spacing between parts.

Section View

  • Activate Section View to cut through the model and reveal internal structures.

  • Choose the cut direction: X, Y, or Z axis.

Distance

  • Click two points in the scene to measure the distance between them.

  • The measurement appears directly in the Viewport.

Angle

  • Click three points in the scene to measure the angle formed.

  • The angle value is displayed in the Viewport.

Render

  • The render modes are Basic and Light.

  • In the Board, if a scene is added from Studio, it follows the render mode set in Studio.

  • If a 3D file is uploaded directly, it is set to Light mode by default.

  • The render mode cannot be changed in the Board, but you can adjust settings such as quality and sample count to preview different results.

Tips

  • Measured distances and angles remain visible until you click the Clear button.

  • Press ESC to turn off any active tool.
