Apply colors or images to the background of the Viewport, and set the overall lighting.
Add Environment from Library
You can apply pre-set environment settings via Library → Env.
If the Library window isn’t visible, activate it from the Top Bar.
To apply an environment:
Select an environment preset from the Library.
If using it for the first time, click to download.
LMB + Drag & Drop it into the Viewport.
Adjust Environment
You can toggle the Env window by clicking Scene List → Surfee Studio.
Common options include adjusting the overall brightness of the background and the direction of sunlight.
Brightness 0
: Removes natural light, resulting in complete darkness.Brightness 10
: Sets natural light to maximum, making everything extremely bright.Rotate -180~180˚
: Adjusts the direction of the natural light.
The default settings for the background can be adjusted by selecting among Color, Image, and HDRI options.
These settings allow you to control the visual aspects of the background.

: Set the background by selecting a color.Image
: Apply a local image file to the background.HDRI
: Adjust the blur level of the background image applied to the environment. (default)
